Name: Dante
Gender: Male
Type: Human
Age: 20
Owned by:Rebellion
Position: Rebellion
Lifestyle: Guard for the most part
Residence: Rebellion Post
Description: Over all Dante is very average. His height in nothing remarkable and his build is that of a twenty something man. His face is rectangular but symmetrical. His hair is blond and a little on the messy side. The most remarkable thing about him is his eyes. They are a very intense blue and are almost hauntingly sad. Dante does his best to keep himself covered because he is rather scared up and it embarrasses him. His back, his legs, and his upper arms are covered with cigarette burns, knife cuts, whip lashes, and tell his life story.
Personality: Dante is a rather cold guy. He has seen a lot of bad things and they have affected his mind deeply. He is troubled and haunted by death. He has nightmares about his mother's death and killing his master. He regrets his actions on that night. He hates himself for that and feels that others should hate him as well, even if they don't know why. The only reason that he will not let himself die is because he feels that life is worse. In order to make himself forget about his past he has thrown himself whole heartedly into the Rebellion's cause. Dante deeply wishes he could forgive himself but really can't. Deep down he is a nice guy but he needs help seeing that.
Even though he has spent several months with the Rebellion he is still terribly skid-dish around the animals there. He can tolerate the smaller onces, such as the cats, but even large dogs send him running off in a separate direction. Around humans he tends to stay quiet and on the outskirts of groups.
Wardrobe: Button down shirt and jeans
History: Dante was born to a mother who was owned by a somewhat cruel captor. Surprisingly Dante was allowed to be with his mother all the time until he was about five. Even after that he was allowed to stay with her if he wasn't being put to work. That was the only good thing going for him though. Even as a child he was hit and punished for poor behavior. He tried to be a good slave but it was hard, particularly with a master who was quick to punish.
When he was ten an important thing happened in his life. He doesn't know what lead up to the event he just knows that it was a combination of bad luck, an evil master, and the frailty of humans. It was a hot day when all the slaves where called around to The Stump where the slaves where punished. Dante's mother stood there, she had done something horrid by the look the master wore. Dante prefers to not remember what happened next, all that really matters is that by the time his master finished with his mother he no longer had a mother.
From that point on Dante became more bitter and introverted. He became unbearable to have in the house, where he had worked as a wash boy. He would ruin food, clothes, and whatever else he could get away with destroying. He did this ever time he got a chance, normally he got away with it. He didn't always though, hence the scars that decorate his body. His master never marred his face only because his wife hated looking at scared faces and claimed that it was embarrassing to have people see that they owned poorly behaved slaves.
The other slaves didn't much like Dante either. He had been a good enough boy when his mother was around but once she was killed he become unruly. He often got others in trouble because they would try to stop him from getting himself into trouble.
By the time he was nineteen he had developed into a strong man who was a vicious as his master. He was down right dangerous. His master knew that he should get rid of the man but he couldn't quiet bring himself to do it. He was in his prime and the boy could fetch a decent price on the market, even with hi issues. Some of the captors seemed to delight in troubled slaves like him.
The master would soon regret not getting rid of the boy sooner. One night after he had been throughly beaten and burned for starting a fight he was seized by a madness and killed his master and his wife. The other slaves where quick to send Dante away, none of them wanted to be punished by the law for his crimes. He doesn't quiet remember how he came to join the Rebellion, all that matters to him is that he is somewhat safe now.
Color: This is where you put the color you will use in Roleplaying with this character.
Other: I think he should help even out the lack of tough guys in the Rebellion. He's definitely different but anti-heroes add color.
