The Basic Plot
[glow=blue,6,000]What if...we lived in a world where animals owned people?
You will decide.

[/left]Curious to know how this whole site works? I bet... especially since it's just that much different from most RPs. You almost have to take yourself out of the world you live in and float about, imagining that your pets owned and controlled what you do... no no no. I'm just kidding. Let me explain:
For as long as anyone can remember on this planet, animals have governed over humans, controlling their lives and using them as slaves and pets, ways to gain fame and money in the world. Humans are not often treated with special care by their Captors, and they suffer because of it. They are limited in educational knowledge; many do not know how to read well.. or even at all, and even fewer know how to write very legibly. Their minds are often penetrated by fear because of the constant exposure of the ferocity of their Captors.
But, however much the Captors have wanted to avoid it, the humans are gaining a little more intelligence as the years pass by slowly. They aren't as stupid as some used to be, and the neutral-viewed Captors are much easier to find than in the past. Things have changed, though not too drastically. But, as many of you know, things always change. There is always more room for change.
The Rebellion is a growing group of those that refuse to live in a society that condemns humans as it does. Even the animals that side with the Rebellion's views have to keep their beliefs hidden (for the most part) for fear of oppression from the government. Many animals have abandoned life in the cities and towns for one in the Wayward Woods with the group, led by Maxwell Damek. In this group, humans and animals live together peaceably, their lives intermingling with the other, learning how to connect without hostility.
The government hates this.
You see, the officials do not know where exactly the camp is located, only that it is in the Wayward Woods somewhere... and believe me, Woods was not the right word to describe this vast acreage of woodland and hills. There have been a couple unsuccessful attacks against the Rebellion in an attempt to destroy it, yet they stood strong. As the Rebellion grows, however slowly, it better prepares itself for a big event that might end the hostility against the humans. Maybe. They might fail and destroy themselves, or they might not accomplish anything at all. Many of the humans and animals don't know how to defend themselves, one of the many lacking areas of the Rebellion. But again, anything can change.
So it's your choice. Where will your characters be involved? How will this plot develop... and...can it develop into something that will win these Rebellion members their dreams or crush them? Will it help the Captors and the government to triumph and continue their supreme rule?
