Name: Emerald
Gender: female
Type: Animal
Species: Turdus migratorius (North American Robin)
Age: 5
Position: Neutral
Lifestyle: Misc. Job - Bard/Storyteller and Wanderer
Residence: wandering..she rests where she can
Description: Emerald is a beautiful red-breasted robin. She has dark brown, almost black feathers all around, except her chest which is the bright red her breed is known for and white feathers around her brown eyes. Her beak is a muted yellow and her legs with talons, are black. She holds herself high at 11 inches and has a wingspan of 15 inches.
Personality: Emerald is a very childish type of animal. She is not one to be serious in any situation and almost seems to hate the fact that she must act serious at times. She loves to spend her days singing out tales around and earning what she can with that. She stands up tall and almost tries to demand that people listen to her.
And she can keep a secret. She won't freak out if she sees a Rebellion memeber (if she even knows they are rebels) and sees all as equal. All got ears to listen to her beautiful words, right? So she sings out and sings loud, before she is told to move on.
She likes anyone who listens to her and loves to sit with friends and listen...one of the few times she does.
Wardrobe: She wears a small, jaunty red hat on her head that is to lilted to the side. In the winter, or in places very cold, she wears a little green scarf.
History: Emerald was named as a joke. She was, sadly, the only one to make it out of the entire brood, but her parents stated that the sun shining through the leaves, down on her, looked like emeralds, thus her name. She became a wanderer and bard/storyteller after her parents were killed and eaten.
Family: They are deceased (they were eaten)
Mate: n/a
Children: n/a
Color: I'll try this color. Maroon
Other: She loves to play games.
Roleplaying Example:
Emerald fluttered about, letting her instinct take her along and she flitted up to land on the corner. She fluffed up and stood up tall, stretching up and let out a shrill call. "Come one, come all, to hear the Amazing Emerald tell you tales of faraway lands and places unheard! Listen, listen!" she trilled out, loudly, to all that were near in her slightly high-pitched voice, before settling there.
She slowly reached up and began to sing about the distant glaciers of the north, her jaunty red hat tilted to the side as she began to sing. She sang of her travels from the far North down to here. Of streams that burbled softly and the way the forests rose above the heads of even the tallest and the music that was the wind through ice of winter.
When finished, she gave a little bow, and trilled out happily, "I have seen many wonders! Ask and ye shall receive!"
