Name: Benina
Gender: female (I know, next one male)
Type: Human
Age: 21
Owned by: Nika
Position: She doesn't really care; if she doesn't get killed or beaten, she's happy.
Lifestyle: Misc Job; Singer and Homemaker (she takes care of the home by watching over children, cooking meals, cleaning, whatever is needed down around the house)
Residence: With whoever she is sold to
Description: Benina is a heavy built woman with wide set hips and is of a strong build. She can do heavy lifting, but she was trained to take care of the house and sing because her breeder noted that she had a gentle disposition, which shows through her soft gray eyes and she keeps her hair short, though the locks are blonde if anyone wishes to notice. She has a bad abrasion across the entire left side of her face from an owner who attacked her in a fit of rage and then sold her.
She was lucky to live, but the scaring will be bad. She is slowly healing, but the blindness in her left eye has already shown itself, turning the left eye a milky white color. The scabbing is bad, but healing.
She has had given birth before, so her skills are wide and varied, mostly due to owners who noted that she soaked it up like a sponge and trained her themselves.
She is six feet tall, however, and can put off some buyers.
Personality: Benina is quiet and gentle. She has a very motherly way about her and is obedient, though she is quick to obey if she knows what is wanted of her. She is kind and warm, always thinking of others before herself, even when her face feels like it is on fire. She works with people and always tries to obey. She just wants others happy and as such, is often trusted as she never thinks of herself and tries to assure her owners, whoever they are, are well. She tries to insure their well-being and doesn't question orders.
Wardrobe: Benina is, as of right now, wearing a short sleeved blue dress with a v-cut neck with the skirt that reaches her ankles.
History: Benina was bred in an attempt to make her mother useful for awhile after her legs were badly broken by an ill-tempered owner, as such the breeder bought her back. After she was old enough to be with a nurse that would raise her right, her mother was executed, then her father was sold so he would know nothing of his daughter.
Benina was sold at 5 to be a singer to an owner who liked the sound of human singing and stayed until she was 10, where she gained more duties, along with more skills, thus sold.
When she was 14, with the breeder owner who had bought her at 10, he noted her build and decided to breed her.
She gave birth to a healthy baby boy, who looked strong and she was allowed to take care of him until he was 2, when she was pregnant (again) and needed to be trained. She gave birth to another boy, but they were only half-brothers, and after he was 2 (she was 18) he was sent to be trained and she was sold.
This was the owner that destroyed half her face and devalued her. She was working in the kitchen, when, apparently, the couple had an argument, and she got the brunt of it. She probably wouldn’t have gotten scared if she hadn’t gotten in-between the master and one of the younger slaves.
She was sold a week later, slightly healed.
Family: She just knows her mother was an entertainer, like her, and also worked as a maid, but her father was a farm worker.
Married: No, but she's mated twice.
Children: Luke, now 7 and Bane, now 5
Category: Entertainer; singing, Cooking, Cleaning, Babysitting
Statistics:
Singing- advanced (she has always sung, so she sings on key, though her range is Alto, so low)
Cooking - intermediate (she won't poison you and it will taste okay)
Cleaning - intermediate-advanced (you might find dust, but it will be clean)
Babysitting - advanced (she's good with kids, if you trust her enough with the young)
Color: I think I'll try...purple
Other: She misses her children.
Roleplaying Example:
Benina kept her head down as she sat in her cage, legs curled under her. She stayed there, not looking up, especially since the seller was trying to hide the fact that she was badly injured across her face, and she looked out of the corner of her gray eyes as she watched the animals pass.
She hadn’t had many owners, but had many personalities. Her first owner had been the breeder, the second had been the man who loved to hear slaves singing (so she became good, then used her skills in singing to have the young at 10 she helped take care of go to sleep) and then at 14 when she had her own child. She had been aided then and two years later, he was taken, but she had Bane…and then she was sold when Bane was two as well.
She almost began to cry as she thought of her children and she winced as she felt a flare of pain cross the left side of her face. She missed her children so much and she wondered if she would ever see them again.
Benina looked up in surprise when she heard the cage door unlock, her slowly scaring face showing. “Don’t worry, she wasn’t born with any of that. Bad owner, but she’s bred before and both boys very healthy, strong…still alive,” her seller stated, waving his paw in dismissal and she stepped out at his silent command, slowly straightening out her dress and herself.
“A bit on the tall side, but a good breeder. Look at that strength along her line, her build,” he continued to sell.
“And obedient. Will never run if you order it,” he added, hoping to bring up the price.
