[beige]It was strange for her to be walking out at such a time; normally she hated the cold, and only exposed herself to the harsh winds when she was in an especially rotten mood. Today, however, was an exception. As dark boots sank into golden grains of dust, a grim look crossed the ferret's face, and she paused mid-step, glancing off to the side and staring out across the sea. It was Autumn; she knew this. Shival wasn't stupid, and she took great pride in the seasons. Her family had lived off of understanding the weather and moons; sailing, coronations- they had all relied on the vital theory known as time.
Smirking, she started walking again, paw resting on the hilt of her rapier as she gazed ahead, eyes narrowing slightly. Yes; the day was cold, and the beach was nearly empty aside from a few fluffy animals here and there. But otherwise, it was desolate, the complete opposite of its otherwise crowded, lung-bursting population in the dry seasons. It was much nicer like this though; quiet, peaceful.
Just her cup of tea. This way, if she got bored and decided to make a ruckus, she could get away from the cops easily.
Still, with that tag-along...
Grunting under her breath, she slowed to a steady walk as she stared at the human from the corner of her eye. Grimacing at his scent, she redirected her attention straight ahead once more, determined to ignore the slave.
If he slows me down for even half a second, I'll have my sword across his back before he can scream bloody murder.
Grinning triumphantly to herself as she made her resolution, she marched onwards, and the scene would've been quite amusing if the ferret didn't hold such a dark aura above her. In fact, it seemed to hover like a storm cloud crackling with static tension; just waiting for something to set it off as an excuse to lash out its fury.
Yes, that's right. This is Shival's road, and if any of you fools have half a brain left after letting those politicians rot them out with lies, then you'll know not to mess with me.
